Planting Tulips in pots
Growing Tulips in pots is easy since pests wont disturb your tulips more frequently and your plants will stay safe. You can grow any type of bulb in the pot. We may also add different varieties of tulip flowers in the same pot. You may add different types of plants in too as long as your tulip has enough separate space around 2 to 6 inches. It is essential that you plant your bulbs in fall so these can bloom at the right time. A most bulbs prefer well drainage soil, or else they will die and rot after staying wet for a long period of time.
Remember to fill your pot with high quality mixing soil and avoid using garden soil. Make sure you place your bulb in the depth of 4 to 6 inches. Once you planted your bulb, make sure to water them properly. If your bulb has a little pot to grow in, do make sure that it has a large pot for the winters and it stays somewhere warm outside and not inside or else it won’t be able to develop properly during the winters. Once spring comes, your bulb will be ready to bloom its flower, only if taken good care.
Growing and Planting Tulips
Tulips are very beautiful flowers as they can come in any variety of color but not pure and true blue an
d black, but these flowers will fill your garden with colorful nature and will brighten your garden up. They are really wonderful flowers buy you need to avoid pests such as Mice, Slugs, Mites and quite more.
Tulip Bulbs should be planted in the fall, the soil should be well drained (no sitting water) and cool. You can find any color of Tulip flowers but not true blue or pure dark black. Tulip bulb need full sun, without anything blocking its way from the full sight of the sun. The depth when planting a tulip bulb should be 4 to 6 inches and make sure when planting more than one Tulip bulb there should be spacing of 2 to 6 inches. After you have planted you Tulip Bulb spray it with gentle water, when there’s no rain around.
Once the flowers have started blooming you now don’t need too much work. But if the flowers are huge with a thin stem you need to make sure that when it rains heavily, it is in shelter so the flowers doesn’t get damaged from any extreme weather. When you are thinking to buy some Tulip plants, I recommend buying Tulip bulbs and not seeds. Since seeds will need more care and time, while bulbs are much better option to plant in your garden. Make sure when you buy tulip bulbs, they don’t appear thin, mushy, soft but do buy those which are fat and firm.
