Review of Mario Kart Tour

Mario Kart Tour is finally available on IOS and Android. We have enjoyed this game on console and afterwards on DS and thereafter on 3DS. Now it is finally available on our mobile devices. Nintendo is finally learning the tricks of the modern gaming. Therefore, Mario Kart is finally available on the band wagon.

As we all know, Mario Kart Tour was published by Nintendo. It is related to its series but includes maps from cities around the world example London, New York, Tokyo, and Vancouver. Its genre is Kart Racing and is free to download from app stores.

The game, graphics and our favorite characters that’s all we need to spend our time. Mario Kart Tour is an exciting and addictive game.

Introduction

Mario Kart Tour genre is Kart Racing and has all the famous character of classical games. It was published by Nintendo on September 25^th,2019 and is playable on iOS and Android device platform. It has 2 main Modes single-player video game and Multiplayer video game. The engine used to create this game was Unity. There have been over 10 million downloads. That’s awesome!

Gameplay

The gameplay first teaches you on how the control system works. There after it gives you 2 free characters (Toadette and Bowser). After receiving them, you will start a real match with 8 bots. This is just to see how well will you play. After the match, you will receive a free kart of a random choice and a parachute. This will then let you unlock all of the cups which are playable. There are 3 types of rarity for the characters, karts and parachutes which are

• Normal (Very common so can easily obtained);
• Super (quite rare); and
• High-End which are super hard to get and only those who are lucky can get the chance to get one.

Each week there is a ranking which puts you with 20 other random players who play the game. During the ranking week, your job is to make the highest scores to win great awards and even tier up.

Game Modes

Single Player

Single player is the basic and common mode. As you will play alone with bots, you may later unlock multiplayer mode by clearing more cups. Each cup has different or same maps and each week it changes.

Multiplayer Mode

Multiplayer mode allows you to play with other players around the world. And also play with other around you or with your friends. You may rank up but as your starter rank letter is F and the highest rank letter is A. There are 2 types of races standard race which has default item slots and with the speed of 100cc. While Gold race allows only Gold pass players in and has 2 item slots, with the speeds of 150cc.

Characters

More Characters are always coming time to time. One of the latest characters is Black Yoshi and Yoshi (in Egg hunt). There are in total of 74 drivers in the game. Whereas all the high ends are good and rare drivers. Similarly, the best of the best driver depends on its special skills, boost skills and favored courses. Top characters of my choice are:

Karts

After the famous characters, Karts are considered to be main features of the game. Karts support characters in winning games and circuits. While playing this game, you may learn the best combination of character and Kart. Some of the famous and popular karts are as follows:

Parachutes

Parachutes are another important component of a kart while racing. They are used when you drive through huge ramp and a parachute will appear behind your kart. Hence, you have to collect best parachutes available in the game. Each parachute has a rarity and each rarity is better than the other. For example, the best rarity in the game is high end and it is quite difficult to get. One way you can get a rare item is by the roll. Whereas if you’re lucky to receive one rare item. Otherwise you may buy one by spending money. But the rare items are quite expensive, especially those who are considered high ends. Some of my favourite parachutes are:

Speed

There is 4 speed modes, which are 50cc (starter and slow), 100cc (fast), 150cc (very fast) and 200cc (too fast) these speeds matter the more faster the more score you will receive in a race and the faster you will level up, if you level up you will get rewards.

Level up

In Mario Kart Tour they have levels, the maximum level is 99, when you level up you receive coins or rubies using coins you can buy stuff from the shop, while rubies can be used on rolls which will randomly give you any driver, parachute and kart.

Shop

The shop includes coin purchases, rolls, and real-life currency items. Coin purchases changes every day and have characters, drivers and parachutes, rolls change over a period of days, rolls have high end driver, parachute, and kart they also randomly give you anything which is available in the roll and real life currency are items which are bought with real money and not in game currency and they can cost much sometimes according to the rarity of the character.

Tours

Tours are daily events that happen each tour will have its own roll, and the roll will consist a new driver, parachute, and kart. Each tour has different maps, some tours are resembling real life events like the Yoshi tour which included the Yoshi (egg hunt) related to Easter. Tours are also the big main concept of the game and a big addition to it.

An amazing addition to exciting games available on IOS and Android. This game may bring the classical game audience to devices. As it is easier to play and require very less time to get into the game. Therefore, gamers may switch off their DS and consoles and start this on their mobiles. This game provides much more exciting content and all this with their classical theme. Excellent graphics and various modes of play make it addictive game. I rate it very high and best among the kart and exploration theme games.
