Cookies are loved by all but if you cook the food you love, it is always fun!

Cookie and milk are a best combination for anyone but especially for kids. How about a drinking milk in a cookie cup.  The recipe below will guide you in making a cup at home in which you can serve milk and then eat the serving cup.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of plain flour
  • Half cup of brown sugar
  • Half cup of super fine sugar
  • 85 grams of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • Chocolate chips, food coloring and/or m&m’s
  • Chocolate and Nutella to melt
  • Milk (for serving in the cooked cookie cup)

Instructions for Making a Cookie Cup

  1. In a bowl take butter, fine sugar and brown sugar and mix them well. Stop when mix become nice and creamy.
  2. Add one egg and vanilla essence in the mixture. Blend the mixture until it is well mixed.
  3. Now add a cup of flour at a time and keep mixing until it becomes soft.
  4. Take it out in a separate bowl and now you can either put coloring or m&m’s or chocolate chips and m

  5. Now wrap the balls in plastic and keep these in fridge for 20 minutes.
  6. Take a tea cup and apply melting butter to grease inside the cup then put butter paper inside the cup. This way cookie will come out easily after cooking.
  7. Take balls from fridge which shall be well set after 20 minutes, and design to the shape and size of your cup which is well covered with butter paper. Make sure that your cookie should not be thick or thin. A thick cookie will be hard to eat and thin will break while cooking. Now cups are ready to go in the oven.
  8. Keep the cups in oven for 15 minutes at 175 C.
  9. In another bowl take some chocolate and Nutella and put them in microwave to melt together.
  10. After taking out the cup from oven and keeping it for 5 minutes in normal temperature, paint inside the cookie cup with melted chocolate and Nutella. This will help in keeping milk in the cookie cup while serving it to children.
  11. Put cookies cups, which are now fully painted with chocolate or Nutella, in fridge for setting.
  12. After taking it out of fridge, add milk and serve it.
