Whistling sounds of the sorrows,

The wind would pass through the morrows,

No time to stop,

As it continues its path,

The path carved beneath,

Laid down just for it,

Rushing tune comes from afar,

It returns,

look over its shoulders,

With the mishap left behind,

No longer in its eyes,

Deemed luminary,

The idleness erased above,

Picked up just for I,

Runes it stays, futile I must say,

Fester on in time, sits through decay.

About Echoes of Time

The poem begins with “Whistling sounds of the sorrows,” evoking a melancholic tone carried by the wind, symbolizing the passage of time and the inevitable movement forward (“The wind would pass through the morrows”). The idea that there is “No time to stop” suggests the relentless and unstoppable nature of time.

“The path carved beneath, Laid down just for it,” implies a predetermined course that the wind (or time) follows. The “rushing tune comes from afar” and “returns” indicates a cyclical nature, where sounds, memories, or events repeat over time, Timeless Connections

As the poem continues, it describes looking “over its shoulders, With the mishap left behind,” portraying a sense of moving past errors or misfortunes, leaving them in the past. These missteps are “No longer in its eyes,” suggesting a focus on the future rather than dwelling on past mistakes, and are “Deemed luminary,” perhaps indicating that even mistakes can be enlightening or illuminating in hindsight.

“The idleness erased above, Picked up just for I,” may indicate that moments of inactivity or stagnation are overcome for the speaker’s sake, hinting at a personal journey or effort to keep moving forward. The phrase “Runes it stays, futile I must say,” suggests that despite the passage of time and the speaker’s efforts, some things remain cryptic or unchanged, perceived as futile.

Lastly, “Fester on in time, sits through decay,” conveys a sense of lingering issues or remnants that persist through time, slowly decaying yet never fully disappearing. This final line reinforces the themes of time’s passage, the persistence of the past, and the inevitable decay that accompanies it. Time is our most precious commodity

“Echoes of Time” captures the relentless forward march of time, the cyclical nature of experiences, and the lingering impact of past events on the present and future.
